Who are your representatives? What Bills are making their way through the Legislature?
Go to nmlegis.gov then to “Find my Legislator”
How to advocate for school libraries when communicating with representatives:
Be specific. Stick to the priorities. Name the bill if you know it (i.e., HB 1 or SB5).
Personalize your communication (use email or hand-written notes).
Don't advocate during your duty day.
Use your personal email address.
Include images, links, or videos to support you priorities.
